Barrier-free replacement new construction
The listed building ensemble is being given a new and flexible conversion concept to preserve its structure. A deteriorating part of the building is planned to be replaced with a new construction based on the usage concept, bringing together various uses and users. The new construction is intended to be designed with accessibility in mind. The participatory process was conducted in collaboration with Dau-Schmidt Tornow and Tollerort and required an early entry into the preliminary design phase to explore the possibilities of implementing accessibility.
